One of the main sources of frustrations in life is the job. People must have a job in order to support themselves and their family but the problem is finding a job that is well- suited to their abilities, talents, skills, technical background and personality. Every job has many facets and calls for an array of different abilities, talents, skills and technical knowledge. The frustration comes when a job calls for things that you just don't have. Work places are always changing and evolving. You may have been shifted into a job that isn't right for you. You might say the solution is easy: find another job. But you have held other jobs and have had similar frustrations on all of them. You have discovered that life is always far from perfect and often the best thing is to just hold on and put up with imperfection and bad situations. You never know what the frustrations of the next job might be - -- they could easily be far worse than those of your present job. May 1992
