The age-old burden of mankind: the cruel overseer, the overbearing taskmaster, the abusive boss. Man has suffered and been kicked around and abused by mean and cruel men from time immemorial. The badness and cruelty of man to his fellow man is a long-standing harsh fact of cold Reality. It was a harsh, ugly fact of life in ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome and it is a harsh, ugly fact of life in modern America. When bad men gain power over others their badness, harshness and cruelty comes out and exhibits itself. The Prince of Evil rules this world and he uses the cruel, hard taskmaster to accomplish his own ends. He uses cruelty and abuse to make people angry, bitter and resentful. Through it he fills them with hatred and malice. He twists and distorts their hearts and minds and makes them blaspheme God. Thus he uses cruelty and meanness as a tool to win their souls to himself.
