A lady that has made an exceptionally good impression on me
I know a lady that has made an exceptionally good impression on me. She is Japanese, probably in her late 50's. She and her husband and a couple of children have been living here in the United States for the last 25 years and she and her husband have just moved back to Japan. I got to know her through my wife. She would occasionally call and wanted to talk to my wife and has come over to the house to visit a couple of times. I ask myself why I like her so much. Well, she seems very intelligent and very honest, sincere, transparent and good. I am impressed by her simplicity, honesty and goodness. Traits that I just intuitively sense. I am guessing that she is probably not Christian. She is probably Shinto. That tells me something. It is not about dogma and doctrine. It is about something else. It is about certain values and outlooks. It is about simplicity and goodness. I have seen so many Christians that appear to me to have been all messed up by dogma and doctrine. Something is definitely wrong with them. They are missing the essence of what is important.
