Regarding mental telepathy and psychic powers
This morning at breakfast my wife, who was standing somewhere behind me, said, “You know what I just saw?” Then before she continued, I thought “Bob Ross”. Then she said, Bob Ross! Now Bob Ross was a fellow who used to show people how to paint in his program “The Joy of Painting” many years ago. Well, we haven’t seen any of his programs in years. That was an absolutely clear case of mental telepathy. After my wife asked me, “You know what I just saw?” the name Bob Ross came into my mind and dwelled there for a couple of seconds before she said Bob Ross! After she said it it was a bit of a shock to realize what had just happened. If I might have had doubts about the reality of mental telepathy I can’t now. Ordinarily I probably wouldn’t even have been able to recall the man’s name. Back many years ago, in the early years of our marriage, a number of incidents occurred that convinced me that my new wife had some kind of psychic powers. I don’t remember the specific incidents now but she would say things that caused me to think she was reading my mind. That phenomenon stopped and I hadn’t thought about it since.
