It is just a fact of life. In whatever age or country we are talking about, it is always the same. There are always a few honest, good, moral men of integrity, self-discipline, thought, and a good understanding who lead good lives and a very large number of men lacking in integrity, self-discipline, morals, or understanding who follow the crowd and lead bad lives. It was true in ancient Greece, ancient Rome, ancient Babylon and all of the ancient countries that we learn about in the Bible just as it is true of all of the countries of our modern world. There are always a few wise people who understand and lead good lives and the many who follow the temptations of the flesh, the ways of sin, and lead bad lives. Fornication, adultery, homosexuality, moral perversion, moral depravity. Lying, cheating, stealing, murder. These are all kinds of behavior that have characterized the masses in all societies. Man first transgresses the laws of God and then he justifies his conduct, defends his conduct, refuses to admit guilt, rationalizes his conduct. Thus he becomes morally perverted. If one has read the writings of the wise men of different cultures (men such as Confucius, Buddha, Cicero, Aristotle, Seneca, etc.) one realizes that there is remarkable agreement among them on what constitutes wise, moral, good behavior and what constitutes bad, depraved, immoral behavior. What constitutes moral, good behavior remains a constant, whatever the culture.

The modern western world has become highly morally depraved, morally degenerate. (I am talking about America, England, France, Sweden, etc.) And behind this moral collapse is modern leftist/ atheist ideology and outlook. Leftist ideology, and all that goes with it (all of the political correctness, multi-culturalism, diversity training, etc.) is diametrically opposed to Christian outlooks, attitudes and values (the Judeo-Christian ethic) and adherents of this ideology have been doing their very best to destroy the Christian foundations of our society for years (as shown in the sexual revolution of the 1960's, the homosexual rights movement, women’s liberation movement, etc.). They have made enormous progress in this regard over the years and have radically changed America. And that change has all been in the direction of high immorality and has brought all of the great moral depravity that is all around us. And along with this great effort to destroy Christianity has been a desire to bring down our political and economic system and replace it with Marxism. And they have not been without a strategy. We understand now that our school children have been, over the years, indoctrinated with the idea that Capitalism is bad and Marxism is good — they have been set against Capitalism by the teachers in our elementary and secondary schools and our colleges. Our schools have long been hotbeds of liberalism and this result could have been predicted. Thus, in this way, the liberals in America have outmaneuvered the conservatives. Once these children start voting they will vote in Marxism.

Marxism just doesn’t work. The basic axioms and assumptions of Marxism / socialism / liberalism are fallacious. Why?

1. Socialists believe a communist system will create good, morally superior people. This is false. Man’s basic nature is not formed by his environment and there is no ideal social or economic system that will create a good man. Man is inherently morally flawed and can’t be perfected. He is naturally inclined toward sin — toward pride, selfishness, arrogance, envy, jealousy, anger, hatred, strife, lust, laziness, etc. — and there is no economic or political system that can be constructed that will remove these basic tendencies and inclinations.

2. Many simple people who initially hear about communism may think, “Oh, that idea sounds really great! I like the idea of everyone making the same amount of money, everyone being equal! I like the idea of the government taking care of all of us!” Well, that system just doesn’t work very well. Everyone wants to ride in the cart and no one wants to pull. And if they are forced to pull they don’t put a lot of energy into it.

3. The best type economic system is one that provides to each individual incentive to work hard, make money, acquire property and wealth, accomplish things. The system that does that is that old, time-tested natural system of private property and free enterprise — capitalism. In an environment of economic competition good and amazing things happen that just don’t happen under communism. Inventions occur, better and more efficient ways of doing things are invented in a way and to an extent that just don’t occur under communism.

4. Capitalism allows personal ownership of land and property. There is a pleasure in owing your own land or your own house. People take better care of property that belongs to them than they do of property owned in common.

5. The system of central planning employed by communism doesn’t distribute goods and services nearly as efficiently and well as the free market system of Capitalism. The result is the common story of state owned stores in communist countries which have run out of basic goods like toilet paper, toothpaste, and soap whereas in capitalistic countries stores have gigantic assortments of all kinds of things, all in great abundance.

6. Government itself (all government) is intrinsically inefficient. It is not nearly as efficient as private enterprise. The incentive for efficiency doesn’t exist for government that exists for private enterprise. Private enterprise needs to cut costs in order to stay competitive. Government doesn’t have this concern.

Coupled with all of these reasons why communism doesn’t work well is a great big negative on communism: it is necessarily totalitarian. The people under it live in a police state. They can’t speak out against the state. They don’t have the kind of freedoms we have.

Marxism is some pipedream, a fantasy that has been tried in many countries and brings only evil, ugly results. Hard, evil ideologues trying to make this evil system work have murdered tens of millions. Countless lives have been sacrificed just to try to build a system that doesn’t work, can’t be made to work. Modern liberalism comes straight from Satan himself and the Liberals are fighting a great fight to destroy the moral foundations of our society in hope of installing their great atheistically based system here in America. The goal of modern liberalism is to destroy Christianity, destroy our American capitalistic system, and replace our religious and economic system with their wonderful system. Liberalism is evil. Liberalism has been making steady progress in America for years now. So much progress that I am honestly afraid it is going to win in doing what it is trying to do. The Left may win this battle. But the people who are trying to do this are going to lose in the end. Why? Because they are on the wrong side of Truth. They are on the wrong side of God. They represent the way of Evil itself. And because no one lives forever, there is a God, there is a Satan, there is a life that comes after this one, there is a hell, and there is eternal punishment for a bad life. If they do win there will be a whole lot of people who will pay the price, just as there have been so many people who have paid the price when it has been tried in other countries.
