The western liberal, down on the white male, is self-deceived

Modern western liberalism has long been down on the white male. According to the modern liberal, the white male is the nasty villain behind all kinds of evil things that have happened in the world, all kinds of abuse and exploitation. For example: 1. The cruel oppression of the black man under southern slavery. 2. The brutal subjugation of the Indian natives of central and south America by the Spaniards. 3. The brutality and exploitation of the Black man in different countries of Africa (as, for example, the Congo) by at least some of the Western colonial powers. Etc. Etc.. Well, all of their accusations may be true, but the liberal is not being fair. Why? Because he is singling out the white male and attempting to ascribe to him alone bad inclinations that are in fact general human inclinations, inclinations common to all humanity regardless of race, skin color, or sex. If the white western male has been guilty of all this it is simply because it was the white western male who was at the top of the power pyramid at the time it occurred. It is simply a fact of life that a very large portion of humanity will lie, cheat, steal, abuse, exploit, plunder, and kill for gain or power. And if others around them are all doing the same, they have even less qualms. The vast majority of men have very little care or empathy for their fellow man. All of the history of Africa is filled with Black on Black violence. Black men have few qualms about killing fellow Blacks. Consider for example the Black on Black genocidal incident that occurred in Rwanda in 1994 in which an estimated 500,000 to 1,000,000 people were murdered. Most of the victims were killed with machetes and rifles in their own villages or towns, many by their neighbors and fellow villagers. History is replete with examples of man’s capacity for inhumanity toward his fellow man. Consider the behavior of the Huns, Mongols, Vikings in ancient times. Consider the behavior of the Japanese troops in Korea and China in recent times. Consider the terrible things that occurred in Nazi Germany under Hitler, the terrible things that occurred in Russia under Stalin, the terrible things that happened in Cambodia and China. The times recorded in the Old Testament of the Bible were times of great cruelty. The student of the Bible knows about the great capacity of man for cruelty.

Now, how about women? Are they more compassionate than men? Are they morally superior to men? I have known enough incidences involving women to be convinced that that is not true. I think that they tend to be more vicious and unjust than men.

We don’t have to go to other times and places to understand the basic nature of man. We encounter it every day in our daily life. We are forever surrounded by wolves, sharks out looking for a big hunk of flesh, out scamming, looking for some naive fool that they can relieve of a big hunk of money. And if the western intellectual liberal thinks he is different he is just deceiving himself. He is no different. He has all of the base inclinations that other people have. The modern liberal has been responsible for a great deal of the evil that has occurred in modern times under various kinds of socialism. He is not morally superior in any way. He is self-deceived and capable of great evil. Especially so because his ivory tower ideas just don’t work and can’t be made to work. Indeed, he is more dangerous than most because he is so naive and sure of himself.

Mankind is simply not to be trusted. It is a simple fact of life.
