On indoctrination and deception
It is easy to be deceived. It is easy to be tricked and fooled. It is easy to uncritically accept as true some falsehood that happens to be part of a package of assumptions of some dogmatic religious system being sold by some handsome, smooth-talking preacher. Or some political system (such as, for instance, Marxism) being sold by some political fanatic. All the talk is very convincing. It all sounds very reasonable. You are listening. You are interested. And then you are hooked! You believe! You have swallowed their arguments. Their enthusiasm passes on to you! You are an adherent! And next you are passing the belief system on to others. This is one scenario by which you can be induced into accepting some false dogmatic religious or political belief system; how you can be sucked in and converted into a true believer. Another way is that you are raised up to believe in that system from childhood. For example, people may be raised as Catholic, Moslem, Hindu, or Buddhist from childhood and they come to accept that system they are raised in as true. Or they were raised in some liberal family that believes in Leninism/ Marxism and come to believe in that. So there are different ways you can be induced to believe in some false belief system along with its underlying falsehoods.
Having said the above, I now proceed: A great many people, probably most, who are raised in some false religious or political system never leave it. They more or less stay with it all of their lives. Others do come to question the validity of their system and start looking for the truth. And what usually happens with them is that they come into another belief system that is equally as false as the first and become converts to that. So they just move from one false system to another.
But believing in false systems and their underlying falsehoods can cause problems for you. Emotional and mental problems, for example. And if you are a seeker of Truth and Understanding you need to find these falsehoods you have foolishly come to believe and find the real truth.
Having stated all of the above, I now make the big, final point: It is easy to get deceived; it is easy to get indoctrinated and mentally programmed. It can happen very quickly. But it is very difficult to get out. Most people never do. Getting out can take years of thought, reflection, questioning, examining, mental struggle. Once in, it is hard to clear your mind and think clearly on the subjects in which you have been deceived.

Effects of intensive indoctrination
Today political indoctrination is going on everywhere. The liberal left is indoctrinating our children in our elementary and secondary schools and in our colleges and universities. We are all under a constant barrage of liberal leftist moral, spiritual, and political falsehood coming from every direction — the mass media, Hollywood, churches, the psuedo-sciences (psychiatry, psychology), government, etc. And in all this, Truth is nowhere to be heard. Truth has been muted. The only voice being heard today is the voice of godless, atheistic Humanism. The people with all the access to the megaphones of the society are of the liberal Left outlook. If a Christian speaks up, everyone watches on the mass media as he is cut down and shamed.
