America, the porn capital of the world
America is the porn capital of the world.
Internet porn. Top five countries for the production of porn:
United States 60% (428 million pages)
Netherlands 26% (127 million pages)
United Kingdom 7% (52 million pages)
Germany 1%
France .8%
California is the porn capital of the United States, producing 66% of the porn in the U.S. The center of the California porn industry is located in the San Fernando Valley just north of Los Angeles and is controlled mainly by Jews. In addition, according to the British charity, National Children’s Homes, 55 percent of the world’s child porn is made in America.
The porn industry accounts for five of the 50 most trafficked websites in the United States. The biggest site, Pornhub, typically ranks around No. 15 — in the neighborhood of giants like Netflix and ESPN. In 2017 Pornhub hosted 28.5 billion visits, an average of 81 million per day, the overwhelming majority based in America. And PornHub is only a single site among an immense number of porn sites. Porn websites account for more monthly traffic than Netflix, Amazon and Twitter combined. Only Google and Netflix are known to consume more bandwidth than MindGeek, the umbrella corporation that houses several of the biggest free porn aggregator websites.
America’s appetite for porn is insatiable. Some of the biggest consumers of porn are young people. In 2016, a Christian research organization called The Barna Group released the results of an online survey based on interviews with nearly 2,800 participants. In this survey:
● Forty-nine percent of children ages 13 to 17 said they consumed pornography at least once a month, with a further 30 percent saying they did so less often. Only 21 percent said they had never viewed pornography.
● In the age group 18 to 24, 71 percent reported consuming pornography at least monthly, with just 9 percent saying they had never viewed it.
Just what does this tell us about what America is in a moral sense? And what are the implications of all this for the kind of country America will be in twenty or thirty years? A lot of people view America as a Christian nation. The older I get the more I realize how totally false this assumption is. How naive I have been all of my life! The Elvis Presley’s, John Kennedy’s, Bill Clinton’s, and Donald Trumph’s. The idols of millions of Americans. You can tell a lot about people by their idols. You can tell a lot about a country by its idols. America. All of these young people with bodies covered with tattoos, smoking marijuana, drinking beer, and chasing after prostitutes. That is America.
How big an issue is pornography in political discussion today in America? It is a non-issue. No politician, Republican or Democrat, ever talks about it. Just what does that simple fact tell you about America?
Many preachers say they don’t preach against pornography because too many of their congregation look at it and they don’t want to risk losing large portions of their congregation.
America, a grossly pagan nation. Most of America has no concept of what real Christianity is. Real Christianity is about integrity and moral purity.
One thing is clear to me. In today’s world, in this age of the internet and smart phone, where the most lurid pornography is only a click away, it takes real seriousness, earnestness and self-discipline to be a real Christian. If you are going to be a real Christian you have to be serious about it. You have to be able to resist temptation. You have to really believe in Jesus Christ and his message to do it. Satan and his outlooks and values are everywhere. Everyone around you is following Satan. You have to be willing to be different and willing to stand alone. Start with the book of Proverbs and then go to the gospels and epistles. It is indeed possible to live as Jesus Christ taught, to live an upright, morally pure, good life. It is possible to be a true Christian. It is possible if you really want to. But those enlightened ones who really do it are very rare.
I sometimes run my mind over all the people I have known over the years. I think about how their lives went. In most cases it is a case of “crash and burn”. I have known a lot of people. Those people that I have known are my sample. I suspect that my sample is a pretty random one. People simply don’t know how to live life. They follow Satan and they “crash and burn”.
