Education does not produce character
One thing is clear to me. Education does not produce character. It does not create good, moral, upright people. It does not give wisdom and understanding. It does not improve a person morally. In proof of this contention I would point to the countries of western Europe, America, Canada, and other western countries. Probably never before in the history of the world have so many people been so well educated as in the western nations of the world. In almost all of these countries almost all of the populations receive a basic education where they learn reading, writing, arithmetic, and get a basic knowledge in a variety of other subjects such as history and geography, with many going on to get college degrees in many different subjects. Yet what has happened to the West morally? The peoples of the West have descended to the deepest depths of moral depravity. All of the education has obviously not done a thing for them morally. In fact, depending what you teach people, you can destroy morals instead of creating them. And I would suggest that that is exactly what has happened. People have been taught that there is no God, no life after this one, no hell, no moral absolutes, that moral truth is only a matter of personal opinion, that men descended from monkeys and are really just animals, that sexual promiscuity is natural and healthy, that godfearing, moral people are prudes and bigots, that the Bible is just interesting literature that is believed only by a few ignorant, foolish people, etc.. Young school children are taught that homosexual sex is fine and just another sexual orientation. In other words, people are instructed in the modern liberal intellectual outlook — which is, in fact, sophisticated foolishness, intellectual garbage (clever lies of Satan).
Do you have a child that you would like to see grow up into a good, moral, upright, principled person? Homeschool him and give him reading assignments from the Bible. The Bible is the key to producing good, upright, moral people.
