Children turning in their parents
What kind of system do I live in? I live in a system where parents are afraid to use physical discipline on their children for fear of being turned in to the authorities and having their children taken away from them. I live in a system where children are being taught in school to call 911 if their parents use physical force on them. I live in a system where children do call 911 and report their parents and the authorities come and believe the children instead of the parents and bring the parents under the supervision of the state, requiring parenting courses, etc. I live in a system where a liberal, atheistic state is now telling parents how to rear their children. In my mind's eye I can see children being forcibly taken away from good, upright, God-fearing, loving parents and put in foster homes or institutions where they become sexually abused and truly abused. I can see horrible tragedies, young children being separated from their parents, young children being morally and spiritually destroyed. I can see the state taking me away from my parents as a boy and the effect it would have had on me (my parents used physical discipline on me and I am a better person for it). Had it happened to me, it would have been an immense, unforgivable crime of unspeakable magnitude. I could never have possibly forgiven it. These are crimes committed by the state. Do these things make me angry? You can be sure they make me angry. I can just see them happening to me when I was young. To me, they represent gigantic crimes. I feel great righteous indignation over them. How can people stand by and let these things happen? If this is not evil, what is evil? I live in an evil state, a system of evil laws. Who is responsible for these evil laws? Liberal do-gooders. Liberals who think they know what is best for everyone, liberals trying to fashion a new society according to their inane, foolish ideas. I live in a system that has lost its sense. You would like me to fight in some war? I would prefer to fight for a cause I really believe in. This is the kind of cause I really believe in.
