Salvation
John 3:3-8 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I
say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom
of God." {4} Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when
he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb
and be born?" {5} Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to
you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot
enter the kingdom of God. {6} "That which is born of the flesh
is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. {7}
"Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'
{8} "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of
it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So
is everyone who is born of the Spirit."
John 3:14-21 "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the
wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, {15}
"that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have
eternal life. {16} "For God so loved the world that He gave His
only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not
perish but have everlasting life. {17} "For God did not send
His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world
through Him might be saved. {18} "He who believes in Him is not
condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already,
because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten
Son of God. {19} "And this is the condemnation, that the light
has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than
light, because their deeds were evil. {20} "For everyone
practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light,
lest his deeds should be exposed. {21} "But he who does the
truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen,
that they have been done in God."
John 5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word
and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall
not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
John 6:28-29 Then they said to Him, "What shall we do, that
we may work the works of God?" {29} Jesus answered and said to
them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He
sent."
John 6:47 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in
Me has everlasting life.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life. {17} For God sent not his
Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world
through him might be saved.
John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life:
he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth
on me shall never thirst.
John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and
the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet
shall he live: {26} And whosoever liveth and believeth in me
shall never die. Believest thou this?
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I
say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the
kingdom of God.
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is
eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Rom 10:9 If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from
the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord
shall be saved.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is
none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must
be saved.
2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new
creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are
become new.
Eph 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the
forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Isa 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon
him while he is near: {7} Let the wicked forsake his way, and
the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the
LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he
will abundantly pardon.
Isa 53 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm
of the LORD revealed? {2} For he shall grow up before him as a
tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no
form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no
beauty that we should desire him. {3} He is despised and
rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:
and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and
we esteemed him not. {4} Surely he hath borne our griefs, and
carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of
God, and afflicted. {5} But he was wounded for our
transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the
chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we
are healed. {6} All we like sheep have gone astray; we have
turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him
the iniquity of us all. {7} He was oppressed, and he was
afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb
to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb,
so he openeth not his mouth. {8} He was taken from prison and
from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was
cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of
my people was he stricken. {9} And he made his grave with the
wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no
violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. {10} Yet it
pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when
thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his
seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD
shall prosper in his hand. {11} He shall see of the travail of
his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my
righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their
iniquities. {12} Therefore will I divide him a portion with the
great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because
he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered
with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made
intercession for the transgressors.
