On Procrastination
One of these days is none of these days.
What may be done at any time will be done at no time.
They whose work hath no delay achieve Herculean labors.
Many undo themselves by delays; they think to do that hereafter
which they never live to do. Practice is the life of all.
Bury
Thoughts of work without attempting
Bring moodiness and despair;
For a man may swim in the waters,
But he cannot swim in air.
Thomas Lynch
Good is best when sooneth wrought;
Lingering labors come to naught.
Southwell
He that surely doth at once the matters to be done
Hath not himself to blame for any ruinous delay.
M. Tupper
