       - femininity, ladylikeness

       - goodness, virtue, character, morality

       - honesty, trustworthiness, dependability

       - emotional stability and balance

       - intelligence

       - good personal habits (non-drinker, non-smoker)

       - thriftiness, frugality (not a spendthrift)

       - naturalness, sincerity

       - politeness, courtesy, good manners

       - kindness, warmth, thoughtfulness, concern for others

       - unselfishness; being self-denying, self-sacrificing

       - good sense, good judgment

       - self-confidence, poise

   Q. The perfect wife that one might envision in his imagination
and the wife what one ends up with are likely to be two
different things. One's wife is likely to have a few
shortcomings. What shortcomings in a wife do I think I would
have the most difficulty in accepting?

   A. I think the following:

       - tendency to flirt, chase men

       - coarseness; crudeness; indecency in speech, manner or dress

       - spendthriftiness
