Success is the Accumulative Result of Lifelong Habits

Most success and achievement is the accumulative result of
lifelong habits. Take success in school. It is mostly the
accumulative result of good study habits --- habits like doing
what you are asked to do, doing it well, always giving it your
best --- starting from the time you start learning the
fundamentals of reading, writing and arithmetic in elementary
school and continuing all the way through high school and
college. And, indeed, success throughout life is the
accumulative result of lifelong habits whether they be the
habits of conscientiousness, habits of diligence and
perseverance, habits of frugality and thrift, habits of
moderation and self-discipline, habits of honesty and fair
dealing, or whatever. Life is a process of building. You
build block upon block, a little at a time, and it accumulates
   over a period of years.
