Errors of judgment

Have you heard the story about the young orphan fawn who, very lonely, applied to a pack of wolves to take him in? Well, I am sorry to say, the story didn’t end well for the fawn. The fawn made an error of judgment. I don’t really believe this story is true. I don’t think that any fawn would have ever done that. I don’t think animals ever make errors of judgment. I think it is only humans who make errors of judgment. Why is this? Why is it that the minds of animals always seem to guide them right but the minds of humans guide them wrong so much? It is an enigma. Why is it that animals tend to consistently act intelligently and sensibly and humans act so foolishly so much? Well, I think it has something to do with man’s ability to speak and language. Man becomes a victim of words and language. Animals live by instinct and intuition. People live by all kinds of assumptions that they have picked up through language. It has to do with the mind of man and its natural gullibility. Man is a creature of ideas. Many of his ideas are acquired through indoctrination. Others are acquired through reading or various public media. Most of the ideas are wholly or partially false and he is not capable of distinguishing truth from falsehood. He is a depraved creature of many perverse inclinations and instincts and he believes what he wants to believe. He is naturally inclined to follow voices of lie, falsehood and evil. It is part of his lower nature. I doubt that animals ever have mental problems. And mental problems are so common with people. Why? I think it has to do with language, ideas, and assumptions. I think it is false ideas and assumptions that causes so much trouble for people.
