Our society squanders billions trying to solve social problems with solutions that don’t work due to a wrong diagnosis of cause

How well a student does in school is directly connected to the attitudes, outlooks, values, and mentality that he acquires as deriving from his culture. It is not about anything else. It is not about “intelligence” or “IQ”. It is about outlooks and habits acquired in childhood as absorbed from his upbringing and culture. That is why oriental students, whether they be Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, etc., so far outperform Americans here in America. And that is why Whites here in America so far outperform American Blacks and Hispanics here. The attitudes, outlooks, and values of the parent, the way he looks at things, the way he sees things, what he thinks is important, order in the home, the way he raises his child, directly impacts the outlooks and mind of the child. It is all about culture. And how well a child does in school directly impacts on how well he does in life. The child who, from an early age, works hard, studies hard, learns the value of perseverance and hard work, and excels in school, creates for himself an outlook and foundation that serves him the rest of his life. The childhood years are the formative years of one’s life. We only get one chance to live through the years of childhood. Their importance and molding effect is fundamental. The childhood years cannot be underrated. For each of us the opportunity to get a good education only comes once. The child who conducts himself prudently in those years does for himself things he can’t do later. The issue is really all about prudence. Some cultures are just a lot more prudent than others. Lifestyle and attitude have a gigantic effect on how well one does in life. They can’t be underrated. A healthy two parent family, how a child is raised, what he is taught, good values, are critical to good outcomes in school. A child is formed by his upbringing. And he is also influenced by peer pressure and the habits and outlooks of his school friends.

A society can squander billions of dollars by trying to fix social problems employing solutions that don’t work. It can throw gigantic amounts of money at a problem that is all wasted if their analysis as to the cause of the problem is wrong. To solve a problem you have to understand it, understand its cause. I live in a world of foolishness. It seems to me that America is always squandering huge amounts of money on this problem and that problem, money all wasted, because it has not taken the time to properly analyze and understand the problem. Or perhaps it is not always quite that simple. Perhaps something more is involved. Like politics and the willingness of people to face the real truth — or the willingness to tell people the real truth. And maybe political correctness is involved. What am I talking about? If the Democrats, let us say, were to tell the Blacks of America that the root cause of all of their problems was the American Black culture and mentality, what do you think would happen? Well, the Blacks would be angry, upset. They wouldn’t like to hear that at all. They would probably all turn against the Democrats and vote Republican. Now Democratic politicians are not stupid! They have their jobs to consider! So even if they were to believe that the cause of the Black man’s problem was Black culture — Black outlooks, attitudes, values, mentality, modes of living — they would not be willing to say it. If they want to keep their jobs they are forced to come up with some other reason for the Black man’s problems. They need to find another plausible sounding reason. A reason that will appeal to the Blacks.

Perhaps there is also another reason why the Democratic Left would not like to accept the idea that the cause of the Black man’s problem lies within the Black man himself — his Black culture, mentality, and behavior. The liberal Democratic Left goes on the tacit assumption that the solution to all social problems lies in government action (social programs, spending money, etc.). They think government is the answer to every problem. But what government action can solve a social problem caused by the wrong outlooks and mentality of a group of people? This would be an example of a social problem that would contradict that most basic assumption of theirs — that government can solve all social problems. People don’t like to acknowledge facts that contradict their most basic assumptions. This would be an example of a problem that challenges their most basic dogma. People don’t like to admit that there are flaws in their dogma. And Liberals don’t like to admit that they have no solution to a problem. The idea that there are social problems that they have no answer to is something they just don’t like to hear.

So the Left goes the route of false analysis and lie. They tell the Blacks that the cause of all of their problems is the Whites. The Whites are at fault. The Whites are bad, evil people. They tell the Blacks that the Whites are discriminating against them. That is an assertion that sounds really great to the Blacks. It is an assertion that absolves them of all responsibility for their problems and places the blame on someone else. Well, back in the 1960's, in response, our Congress passed anti-discrimination laws and affirmative action laws that place Blacks ahead of Whites in hiring. And they implemented Johnston’s Great War on Poverty with the Great Welfare Program. Well, those solutions cost gigantic amounts of money and didn’t work and so the liberals now need to explain why. Why didn’t those solutions work? So now these liberals say the reason is that distant ancestors of some of our southern whites held the distant ancestors our American Blacks as slaves and all of the Black man’s problems derive from that trauma inflected on them so the White man ought to pay the Blacks reparations for all of this injustice done to them. And they contend there is a systemic bias against Blacks in American society. The Whites are holding them down. They tell us that because of the difference in outcomes between Blacks and Whites in our society — because Whites consistently do better than Blacks in every sphere — the only conclusion for cause is a bias. Moreover, they tell us that our American government was formed by slave holders and thus our system is inherently bad. So the problem is also our system. It is inherently bad. Their arguments don’t need to be good, thoughtful or logical. They only need to sound good enough to convince dumb, ignorant, gullible masses. They brainwash the young children in our schools with Leftist inspired ideas like Critical Race Theory that teaches that the White man just naturally discriminates against the Black man. They extol the merits of Marxism, trash Capitalism, and tear down the statues of our founding fathers. They do all of this and trash America because they are not willing to tell the real truth. And also for another reason. Because it all furthers their agenda. What is their agenda? To make people upset and angry, get them to rise up in violence, and destabilize our system. Then, in this environment, they can come in as the Communists did in Russia and install Communism.

This world is just filled with foolishness. The Western World is just filled with foolishness. Modern Liberalism is all foolishness — all based on falsehoods — false assumptions, false tenets, false assertions, false analyses, false beliefs. And, in addition, there is that whole fact of the basic nature of man. Man is naturally inclined toward envy, jealousy, hatred, depravity, blaming others rather than oneself.
